Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium Grant?

The Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools with pupils on roll during the annual pupil census who are known to have been eligible for free school meals at any time in the last six years.

In the 2016 to 2017 financial year, schools will receive the following funding for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years:

£1,320 for pupils in reception year to year 6

£300 for pupils from a service family

£1,900 for pupils in care

£935 for pupils in year 7 to year 11

Our total funding for 2016/17 Financial Year is £58,960
