The School Day

Punctuality is an important life skill to teach our children. We expect our children to be in school on time everyday. If for any reason your child cannot come to school then please contact us by telephone or email (attendance@st-peters.essex.sch.uk) as early as possible. If you require support/ advice regarding attendance then please do not hesitate to contact us!

The official school day is 8:45 am - 3:15 pm

(6.5 hours per day and 32.5 hours per week)

Gate opens at 8:30

Bell rings at 8:35 Children should enter their classrooms when the bell rings put their things away and start early morning learning activities.

Gate will close at 8:45. Arrivals after this time will be considered late - children will need to be signed in via the main school office.

8:45 - Morning registration 

8:55 -  Collective worship

10:35 - 10: 50 - KS1 break time

10:55: 11:10 - KS2 break time

12:15 - 13:15- Lunchtime

3:15 - Hometime for all children
