Ready, Respectful, Safe & Kind
|
At St Peter's, we have four simple rules to guide our relationships and behaviour. These rules are easy to remember and are supported by hand signing to help even our youngest children understand and remember them. We are committed to creating an environment where exceptionally positive behaviours are supported and nurtured. We expect everyone, every day, to uphold the highest standards of personal conduct, accept responsibility for their behaviour, and encourage others to do the same. Calm and consistent relationships and behaviours are key to fostering a calm, quiet, and productive environment where everyone can thrive. Restorative practice plays a vital role in our approach, and we expect everyone to develop trusting and respectful communication with one another. We aim to nurture a community where everyone is ready to learn, respectful towards each other, feels safe every day, and is kind to all. Our staff are fully trained in Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP). |
